Thanks for your comment. Good point about how scene has changed with that women who are alone in the restaurants.

How's it eating alone in Europe? I once ate at a Moroccan restaurant in Paris alone when I visited and it was pretty good.

Heh. Nice comment!
:)

I also think about this things a lot. I don't like to have dinner or lunch alone in restaurants here in Europe and I want to improve that. I love to have breakfast though. I like to be alone in streets, and in museums, and also buying clothes.

I think is really true what you think about not looking at the surroundings if yo uare with family and friends, and also another important thing that happens now is that women are alone (as in not looking for somebody) much more than before, when women where in places just if they were supposed to meet with a man.

(everytime I tried to reply, I kept losing my comments... for twice so now third time after a week)

Why do people who wants to eat alone has to cope with fast food restaurants or cafes? I like to sit in a nice restaurant in a bar and enjoy a delicious meal whether it's with a book or a great company.

Good point about annoying group of friends blocking street linking arms in Korea. The street etiquettes are new there unlike of New York street I think... although we do frequently bump into tourists who blocks the street here and there.

I think a person with a self respect actually does have respects toward others. It's better than being peer pressured and wondering always how she/he would be appeared to others.

Yeah, i know what you mean, but actually I've noticed that it's more common to see young people eating alone now than it was 2 years ago. I usually go to a neighborhood boon-sik or one of those Kimbap Nara places during off hours to avoid the odd stares. However, this article (link below) pissed me off for it's suggestion that so called "Gloomy" people are actually selfish and don't care about others! What?! And apparently linking arms with your 5 best friends and blocking everyone else from walking down the street means you DO care about others?!
